My Journey into Design

Throughout my college years, I found myself navigating a variety of majors, unsure of the path that truly resonated with me. Eventually, I gravitated towards Business Management as a practical choice.

Post-graduation, I entered the workforce as an Account Manager in the insurance industry. It was during this time that I began soul-searching, questioning the prospect of spending the next few decades in a role that lacked personal passion. Searching for fulfillment beyond the 9-to-5 grind, I stumbled upon the world of website development using WordPress. Experimenting with various blog sites, I found myself more engrossed in the technical aspects of website creation than the content itself.

Delving into user behavior analysis and data-driven insights, I uncovered the realm of User Experience (UX) design. This revelation opened up a new career path that reignited my professional journey. Venturing into freelance projects – initially beyond my comfort zone – proved to be the catalyst for honing my UX skills and ultimately transitioning from Account Management to a fulfilling career in UX.

Fast forward over two decades, I remain awe-inspired by the serendipitous discovery of this dynamic field. Grateful for the opportunity to indulge in my passion, Design embodies a world where problem-solving, strategic thinking, research, creativity, and team-building converge with purpose. It’s a realm where I not only thrive but find immense joy in fostering growth and development among peers.

Embracing my role as a UX professional, I am fulfilled by the multifaceted nature of design, constantly fueled by the diverse skillsets it demands and the collaborative environments it fosters.
